WHAT’S WITH THE TITLE?

It may sound like a random title to you but it does have a meaning. After everything that happened with my family I wanted a distraction from things and got a Netflix account and begun watching the show “The Tudors”. At first I wasn’t thinking much of the show having first seen “The Other Boleyn Girl” but seeing things in a television show is very different from a movie. In a television series you have more time which allows for so much more drama and the chance to develop the characters more which caused me to see things differently (might have also been from the recent events in my life causing me to see it this way) but I felt so strongly for the character of Katherine. She loved her husband where he no longer loved her, going after Anne Boleyn instead.

Another thing that led me to the idea of the title was in one of my classes I kept writing about my father who I felt had abandoned our family for something that might not last. I hated him with such a passion and yet he still haunted my every thought. There were nights where I cried, where I wish I could yell at him or just finally say what I needed to say to him. I decided I needed to stop boring my teacher with the details of my personal problems and write them out and with my dream of becoming a novelist I decided to make it into a story giving it the title of “In Support of Spain”.

Wait, I thought you said novel?

Yeah, that was my original plan but I decided that I wanted people to be able to read it and decided to make it a blog so people could read my story and possible relate to what’s going on in my life. I don’t want anyone to think they’re alone in dealing with something like this.
